The Daily Hub (Diary)

December 4, 2009. I just started this blog today. It will be some time before I get it the way I want it.  Please come back later.

December 9, 2010. I have managed to get this blog here going.  Feel free to comment on any of the posts.  More will come later, as time goes by and I complete some of the writing I’m working on.

December 10-201.  There was a dusting of snow on the ground this morning, but rain is expected again by Sunday.  Continued writing on my next essay.  Put up some outdoor Christmas lights.

December 11-2010  Imported all the posts from my old blog, which I will now discontinue.  Nice mild day today, plus 2 degrees.  Finished decorating for  Christmas inside the house.

December 12, 2010.  What a nice day, full sunshine from a blue sky and plus 3 degrees.  Tomorrow, it will be plus 10 degrees and rain-rain-rain and then rain some more .  I don’t plan on leaving the house.

December 14, 2010 Yesterday and today we had a terrible windstorm with up to 100 km/hour wind speed and heavy rain most of the time.  Lots of damage in the rural areas and 27000 people without power.  It has calmed down again and there was no damage to our property or anyone’s close to where we live.

December 18-2010 It snowed yesterday, leaving a pretty white blanket over the landscape..  The stuff was light and fluffy like feathers, gently settling on tree branches and anywhere it could find a place to land. Birds landing in the tree tops sent showers of snow to the ground.  The crows walked around on the lawn in snow up to their bellies, searching for some tidbits I had thrown out for them.  Welcome to winter-but it won’t last but a few days, for rain is on the way.
